Is PPL AI really free?
Yes — PPL AI is free to use with no credit card required. You can create your digital V.Card, share it via QR and link, and get basic AI follow-up drafts at no cost. Premium team features and advanced analytics are available on paid plans.
Do my contacts need to download an app?
Never. When someone scans your QR code or opens your link, your card opens instantly in their browser. They can save it as a contact with one tap — no app, no sign-up required on their end.
How does the AI follow-up work?
After you meet someone and add them as a contact, PPL AI reads the context — where you met, their role, what you chatted about — and drafts a short, personalized follow-up message. You review it, tweak if needed, and send. No cold-starting from a blank page.
Is my contact data private?
Absolutely. Your contacts are private and only visible to you (and your team, if you're on a team plan). We never sell or share your data with third parties. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
What is a V.Card?
A V.Card (virtual card / vCard) is a digital business card that lives at a permanent URL — like pplai.app/u/yourname. It can also be exported as a .vcf file that works with every phone's contacts app, Apple Wallet-style saves, and any CRM.
Can I use PPL AI at events?
Yes — events are a core feature. You can create an Event in the app, and every contact you scan or add while the event is active gets tagged with that event automatically. After the event, AI generates follow-up suggestions for everyone you met.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export all your contacts as a CSV or vCard at any time. If you cancel, your data is retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted. No lock-in.
